Whether you can fast-forward depends on the type of content you are watching. Read below to understand the differences!
Live TV
You can fast-forward through live programs (including commercials), but there are some limitations based on how you start watching.
If you select Start Over, you will be taken to the beginning of the program. While watching, you can rewind and then fast-forward to the furthest point you've watched.
If you select Watch Live, you will join the program while it is in progress. You can rewind back to the time you started watching and fast-forward up to the Live time.
Recordings
You can rewind and fast-forward at your leisure through ALL recordings, including commercials.
On Demand
We have many shows and movies included with your subscription that you can stream whenever you want. It is up to the network provider whether fast-forwarding is enabled for a particular movie or TV episode.
72-Hour Lookback
Our 72-Hour Lookback feature lets you watch any program that aired on one of our live channels over the last three days. (This feature is restricted on some channels, such as MeTV.)
When you select something in Lookback, you will be taken to the beginning of the program. While watching, you can rewind and then fast-forward to the furthest point you've watched.
Note: If you have a Classic or Premium plan, you can record any program available through 72-Hour Lookback. The recording will be immediately accessible, and you will be able to rewind and fast-forward at your leisure.
Add-ons
You can rewind and fast-forward at your leisure through ALL add-on content, which is commercial-free.
